Senior Pastor Mark Medley

| It's not about me...It's about Jesus. |

Our Pastor spends his time preparing to preach and teach the congregation through sermons and Bible Study. He is also teaching other Pastors through the Church of the Nazarene Modular Course of Study. His students range from staff members who are finishing their course of study and are ready for ordination to ministry students just starting on their journey to evangelists and teachers throughout the south. He is also the NC Nazarene Disaster Response Coordinator. Pastor Mark teaches churches and groups disaster response classes and helps coordinate responses to natural disasters within the state of North Carolina. When away from Church responsibility Mark likes to hunt, fish, golf, bike ride or work on his house.
Angie is a full time nurse and part time student who still manages to be very involved in the life of the Church. During any given week you will find her in the nursery, helping the Worship Team, helping with the Ladies Ministry, or Bible Quizzing. Angie is an avid reader. Her favorite literature genre is Christian fiction.
The desire of our Pastor's heart is to see individuals accept Christ as their Savior and Lord, be filled with the Holy Spirit and become mature disciples of Christ.

Youth Pastor Scott Penuel
|

Youth Pastor Scott Penuel began ministering at FCN in July of 2006. He is the minister of youth and music. He and his wife Michele have a heart for teens. Over the past ten years they have both been involved with the youth in the Church of the Nazarene. They are former members of the Faith Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville, N.C. and the Crystal Coast Church of the Nazarene in Morehead City, N.C.
Both Scott and Michele grew up in broken homes. They both went down many rough roads growing up. In Oct. of 1997 God intervened in their lives and changed them forever. They were faced with the decision of whether to continue in their lifestyle of sin or to submit to God with their lives. They chose Christ. Since then they have been blessed in ways they never thought possible. God has given them a passion to direct teens away from the lifestyle they once lived in. It is their desire to see teenagers grow up to be mighty men and women of God.
After submitting to God’s plan for their lives, God has blessed them with two wonderful boys. Nathanael is seven and probably one of the most outgoing kids you would ever meet. He accepted Jesus Christ at the age of six. Jaden, their youngest, is one, going on eight. He seems to be following in the same footsteps as his big brother. They have brought so much joy into Scott and Michele’s life.
Scott’s Testimony -
“God is at work in our Church and I am pleased to be a part of this ministry. He has great things in store for our local Church. I believe in His name and that many more will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This will be a result of the prayers of the godly people who are a part of FCN!” – Youth Pastor Scott Penuel
